Coaching Relationship With a Nurse Leader 

First, the nurse leader should be a willing and open recipient of coaching. They could be a high-performing registered nurse that is not yet in a management role or a nurse director or manager. 

We believe that, individualized leadership coaching re-enforces learned leadership techniques. As part of leadership reflection and self-awareness, the coach will emphasize and encourage the nurse leader to lead monthly discussions with the CNO on the benefit/non-benefit of focused coaching.

At the end of the nurse leader coaching with MK Consulting, the nurse leader should:
